New York, NY: Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation have reached a settlement in the consumer fraud class action lawsuit brought by customers alleging that Ticketmaster's processing fee was not related to busness costs but rather a profit-making mechanism. The suit further alleged that the mark-up on UPS delivery was artificially marked up.
Live Nation has reportedly put aside $22.3 million to pay for legal fees and issue refunds to affected customers.
