A class action lawsuit has been filed against Sprint on behalf of customers who object to the company's practice of adding "USA Regulatory Obligations & Fees," including an unjustified fee related to the 911 emergency number, to the customer's bills. The suit was filed on behalf of "all persons . . . who were charged by Sprint and paid a Federal E 911 or "USA Regulatory" fee or similar unilaterally-imposed illegal assessment." The plaintiffs claim that they were unaware of the charges when they purchased the plans, and the charges "breach the terms of the service agreements," as well as the advertised prices for Sprint Service Plans.

I recieved a release refund letter sent to me saying I had a refund of $300.00, that i would be recieving, so i called and asked for the refund to be mailed to me, and the agent said ok, and i would recieve it in 7 to 10 days. I looked for the refund and it never came so I called them back, they had credit it to my sprint bill without my permission,
