Employee supervisors in California tried to file a class action lawsuit against their employer for unpaid overtime. Approximately 1,200 current and former supervisors accused UPS of violating California labor law by not providing overtime pay or meal breaks. A Los Angeles District Judge dismissed the case because as managers, the plaintiffs did not qualify for overtime pay. (Aug-25-05)
