A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of 20,000 drivers against the courier service alleging unpaid overtime. The lawsuit claimed UPS improperly denied wages and/or overtime pay and meal and rest breaks. Plaintiffs sought back wages, penalties, interest and attorney's fees. A California federal court notes UPS has entered an agreement in principle to settle the wage and overtime class action lawsuit for $87 million. (Nov-06-07)

I am a part time supervisor with UPS and have been working off the clock for over two years and have not been paid for it. My scheduled start time is 4 pm. I receive phone calls and text messages all day long from my boss and from other employees. I have also stayed late to finish my work at least four out of five days for the last two years as well. Every time I try to put overtime on my check, my boss has me take it off. I recently told them I have had enough and I was putting my overtime on my check and leaving it on. Now I am in jeopardy of losing my job.
