A $3.1 million verdict has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. on behalf of workers at the company's plant in Wallula, Washington. The plaintiffs alleged that they should be paid for the time they spent putting on and taking off mandatory safety gear on the job, and they sought back pay for the past four years.
