Santa Clara, CA: A proposed $900,000 settlement has been reached in a California unpaid overtime and wages class action lawsuit pending against Tacolicious.
The cooks who filed the suit alleged the small chain of taco restaurants in the San Francisco bay area failed to compensate them for regular hours worked as well as overtime. Additionally, they claim they were not provided with proper breaks or compensation for missed breaks, and were given inaccurate pay statements.
The proposed settlement requires court approval, and if approved, the funds from the settlement will go to compensate current and Tacolicious employees who worked for the company between August 14, 2010 and July 11, 2016.
