A $900,000 settlement has been reached and is pending court approval in the class action lawsuit filed against enterprise applications maker Siebel Systems. The suit was filed by the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL), alleging that the company had violated company rules for granting stock options by exceeding the cap set on the number of options it was allowed to grant and issuing options at below market value without expensing the difference in price.
