A $3 million dollar settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against Service Corp. International (SCI) on behalf of 16,000 customers. The suit alleged that the funeral industry company illegally charged processing fees, neglected to include customer disclosures for finance charges, amounts financed and annual interest rates, and neglected to include copies of consumer paperwork as required.
