Hundreds of current and former employees filed a class action lawsuit against the district in September 2003 alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Bus drivers, attendance clerks, cafeteria workers, custodians, maintenance workers, classroom aides, and clerical employees are set to receive an $850,000 settlement for unpaid overtime.
