A settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed regarding Nextel's Federal Programs Cost Recovery Fee which challenged the lawfulness and manner in which the company was disclosing details of the fee to its customers. The settlement stipulates that the company make certain express statements in its billing, its advertising and when responding to customers who inquire about the fee. (Oct-03-03)
