A class action lawsuit was filed against the data equipment company claiming their wireless products did not transfer data as quickly as the company advertised. NetGear will offer a 15% discount at its online store and pay up to $700,000 in legal fees. The company has also agreed to add a disclaimer to its packaging that notes the speed of data delivery through its wireless products may vary because of different factors. (Nov-28-05)
