Microsoft Corp. Class Action Dismissed

Twenty seven law firms tried to file a class action lawsuit against the computer company seeking $24 million in legal fees for their work against Microsoft in antitrust cases. A U.S. District Judge dismissed the case where the plaintiffs were trying to get a share of $79 million in fees that a group of 11 other law firms received for state court cases in Florida, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Tennessee and West Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia.
