Boise, ID: A class action lawsuit was filed against the advanced semiconductor solutions provider for allegedly price fixing and conspiring to restrain supply of computer memory chips. The lawsuit was filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of direct purchasers of certain dynamic random access memory (DRAM) products. The suit claimed from April 1, 1999 through June 30, 2002 Micron conspired to restrain supply of DRAM chips to drive prices up. Micron Technology has reached a settlement agreement in the class action lawsuit. As a result of the settlement, Micron expects to adjust its first quarter fiscal 2007 earnings by up to $80 million.
