New York, NY: (Oct-31-07) A class action lawsuit was brought against Merrill Lynch & Co. over Tyco Research Securities dispute. In a settlement reached, Merrill Lynch & Co. has proposed to pay $4,900,000 to end the lawsuit. A hearing will be held before the Honorable John Keenan, United States District Court, Southern District of New York, 500 Pearl Street, New York, New York 10007 at 10:00 a.m. on January 9, 2008 to determine whether the proposed settlement of this class action should be approved by the Court as fair, reasonable, and adequate, and to consider the application of Plaintiffs' Counsel for attorneys' fees and reimbursement of expenses.
