The fast food giant has agreed to pay a $10 millions settlement to 24 groups. The class action lawsuit claimed McDonalds misled Hindu and vegetarian consumers by claiming French Fries containing beef additives for flavoring were vegetarian. Among those to receive settlement money are the Vegetarian Resource Group, the North American Vegetarian Society, and the International American Gita Society. (May-22-05)
