In the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco Division, in 'In re Magma Design Automation, Inc. Securities Litigation, Case No. C-05-2394 CRB', a summary notice of a proposed settlement of class action and settlement hearing been issued as follows:
TO: all persons who purchased or otherwise acquired the securities of Magma Design Automation, Inc. during the period between October 23, 2002 through April 12, 2005, inclusive, and who were damaged thereby (the "Class").
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, pursuant to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and an Order of the Court, that a settlement for $13.5 million has been proposed in the above-captioned certified class action. A hearing will be held before the Honorable Charles R. Breyer in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco Division on November 21, 2008 to determine whether the proposed settlement should be approved by the Court as fair, reasonable, and adequate, and to consider the application of Plaintiffs' Counsel for attorneys' fees and reimbursement of expenses.
