An $850,000 settlement has been reached in the discrimination class action lawsuit filed on behalf of 233 female inmates. The jail will also make modifications including privacy walls for bathrooms, pads for concrete benches in the holding area and separate barracks for six female inmates at a time on a jail work-release program.
