Consumers tried to file a class action lawsuit against the ice cream maker for allegedly misleading them about nutritional content. The lawsuit claimed higher fat, calorie and cholesterol content caused consumers to gain weight. The lawsuit also alleged fraud, false and deceptive business practices and advertising. A Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice has denied the class action request. (May-25-06)
