A class action lawsuit was filed against the car dealership for allegedly charging thousands of customers illegal license and documentation fees. Approximately 14,100 customers who purchased vehicles from the dealership between 1999 and 2005 will be provided with redeemable $117 certificates for complimentary maintenance services. The free oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections and safety inspections could cost Honolulu Ford up to $1.6 million in in-kind services. (Aug-23-05)
