The California State Teachers' Retirement System filed a class action lawsuit against the company. The lawsuit claimed Pricewaterhouse neglected its responsibilities in failing to discover accounting irregularities at Homestore.com in 2000 and 2002. Pricewaterhouse did not admit to any wrongdoing but did agree to pay a $17.5 million settlement. (Jun-30-05)
