A class action lawsuit was filed against the hotel on behalf of guests who were charged resort fees. Hilton Hotel has not admitted wrongdoing, but has agreed to fully reimburse all former guests who can provide documented proof that they stayed at any of the 11 hotels prior to January 1, 2004 and paid resort fees. Hilton has also agreed to discount resort fees at the properties by 75% until it has forgone 22.5% of the total resort fees collected prior to January 1, 2004. (Oct-03-06) [MIMEGASITE: HILTON HOTELS]
