Spartanburg Regional Health Services District filed an antitrust class action against the company and its subsidiaries Hill-Rom, Inc. and Hill-Rom Company, Inc. The class was filed on behalf of U.S. purchasers or renters of Hill-Rom products from 1990 through the present. Hillenbrand has agreed to a proposed settlement of $337.5 million. (Nov-16-05)
