A settlement has been proposed in the class action suit against Hewlett-Packard on behalf of purchasers of certain HP LaserJet printers (5L, 6L, 1100 series, 3100, and 3150). The plaintiffs claim that these printers had problems in the paper feed mechanism which are the result of defectively designed separation pad. (Mar-08-03)
