Henry Ford Hospital reaches outcome for discrimination lawsuits. The settlement reached in a U.S. District Court includes $1.1 million for plaintiffs alleging discrimination between 1998 and 2002. Henry Ford Hospital will also pay an additional $1 million to launch career-development and diversity-training programs. The plaintiffs, an undisclosed number of African American employees, held numerous complaints against the Detroit-based health system claiming denied job assignments, equal pay levels and promotions. This is nothing new with them. I have applied to so many of their jobs just to be shoved to the side when it is clear that I am very qualified. I had an interview with them once and it appeared that I would be selected but never heard back. Some of the staff of high ranking seem to not want to provide services to African Americans too. There needs to be a change with HFH all around.

Henry Ford still practicing racism against their Black employees. I would like to open class action lawsuit against them with other Black employees who have been discriminated against.
