A $80 million dollar settlement has been reached in the securities class action filed against Hanover Compressor Company of Houston, Texas. Under the terms of settlement, the shareholders will gain the authority to appoint directors of the board, as well as the company will agree to rotate its audit firm, which are both groundbreaking reforms in terms of shareholder demands for accountability.
