Approximately 120 Illinois State Police Departments have dropped their lawsuit against the car company to remain eligible to purchase police cruisers from Ford in the future. The class action lawsuit originally claimed the Crown Victoria Interceptors were unsafe and exploded from rear end collisions. (Mar-22-05)
