A $2.5 million settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of consumers. The suit alleged that the company made regular pie crusts with pork lard although they were stamped as kosher by the Orthodox Union, a New York organization that certifies kosher foods. (Dec-17-04)
