New York, NY: A certified securities fraud class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased EIS International common stock or call options on the open market from November 28, 1995 through March 31, 1997. EIS International has proposed a $3.8 million cash class action settlement to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. A hearing will be held on December 20, 2006 to determine whether the proposed settlement, plan of allocation and distribution of attorneys' fees and expenses should be approved by the Court as fair, reasonable, and adequate.
