A $36 million dollar settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against Boeing subsidiary Donnell Douglas on behalf of its Tulsa plant employees. The suit was filed by 1,074 employees who lost their pension and healthcare benefits when the plant was closed in December 1993. The settlement is unique, as it will allow the employees to continue their suit against the company to recover back pay, without risking the settlement. (May-28-03) [KANSAS]
