Three class action lawsuits were filed against the financial services company on behalf of current and former employees for allegedly misclassifying certain store and area managers as exempt from California state overtime requirements. The classes also claimed Dollar computed bonuses payable to store managers using an impermissible profit sharing formula. Dollar has not admitted any wrongdoing, but has agreed to pay up to $5.8 million in claims. (Apr-21-06)
