Brussels, Belgium: (Apr-06-07) Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, a now bankrupt IT group, shareholders filed a class action against Dexia SA in 2003, over Dexia's assisting the group in its IPO. The group claimed to be indignant about being charged in the LHSP lawsuit and insists that it had nothing to reproach itself for in this case. In a settlement reached, Dexia SA received a writ from the Ghent prosecutor's office regarding the lawsuit and agreed to pay LHSP shareholders $60 million to end the class action litigation.
