In 1998, billionaire and Tracinda Corp. owner, Kirk Kerkorian invested over a billion dollars in the automobile company and then in 2000 he turned around and tried to sue them. The lawsuit claimed DaimlerBenz engineered the takeover of Chrysler Corp. but then cheated him by casting the deal as a merger of equals. A court has decided to dismiss the financial lawsuit and ruled against Tracinda Corporation's claims. (Apr-08-05)
