Corinthian Colleges, Inc. Class Action Dismissed

Shareholders tried to file a class action lawsuit against the post secondary education company alleging securities fraud. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of persons or entities that purchased or otherwise acquired the securities of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. between August 27, 2003 and June 23, 2004. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The court has granted Corinthian motion to dismiss the third amended federal securities class action complaint. The complaint was dismissed with prejudice and will not be heard again by the district court. (Apr-25-06)
