A settlement has been reached and is pending court approval in the securities class action lawsuit filed against Computer Associates International, Inc. Under the terms of settlement, the company will issue 5.7 million shares of its common stock. The settlement will terminate all outstanding litigation related to claims about past accounting issues, and also includes all shareholder and ERISA class action suites and related derivative litigation.
