Shareholders filed three putative class action lawsuits against the hotel real estate investment trust company and its directors. The lawsuits related to Boykin's planned sale to Braveheart Holdings for $416 million and the sale of two resorts to entities controlled by Chief Executive and Chairman Robert Boykin. Boykin Lodging has entered into a memorandum of understanding to settle the three class action lawsuits and will make certain additional disclosures to its shareholders. (Sep-01-06)
