Mortgage and personal loan consultants filed a lawsuit against Bank of America in California for violating wage-and-hour laws. On September 16, a San Francisco U.S. District Court sided with the loan sellers who claimed they were denied overtime pay. While Bank of America did not admit to any wrong doing, they agreed to a settlement of $9 million. (Sept-19-05)
