A class action lawsuit was filed against the company for allegedly engaging in deceptive, misleading and unfair marketing and sales practices in regard to its shipping and handling charges and its advertised cost of CDs. Plaintiffs include BMG members who paid shipping and handling charges between June 14, 1998 and February 1, 2005. BMG has agreed to offer vouchers worth 75% off the regular club price of a BMG CD to qualified plaintiffs. (May-16-05)
