Shareholders filed a class action lawsuit against the company alleging securities fraud. The case was filed in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired the American Depositary Shares of Allied Irish Banks, PLC during the period between February 6, 1999 and February 6, 2002.
