Madison County - A class action lawsuit was filed against Alliance Mortgage for allegedly charging borrowers excessive fees for faxes. At the closing of one woman's home loan, the lender improperly charged $60 for two facsimile transmissions. Madison County Circuit Judge Lola Maddox denied the case. (Sep-14-06)
