NorthWestern Energy Acquisition Offers Class Action Settlement

A preliminary settlement agreement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against Northwestern Energy, filed by the City of Livonia Employees' Retirement System in November 2005 regarding various unsolicited acquisition offers in 2005. The statement does not confer a financial award to either party. If the agreement is completed it will end all further legal action filed by the Retirees. (Jun-05-06) [YAHOO BUSINESS]
