Santa Clara, CA: A $1.8 million settlement has been reached in an unpaid overtime
class action lawsuit pending against Avon.
The lawsuit was brought by Avon’s district managers, who alleged the company misclassified them as exempt employees and therefore did not pay them time and half wages they were due.
According to the terms of the proposed settlement, anyone who worked as a district manager at one of Avon’s California locations between April 2009 and March 31, 2016 will be able to claim compensation for their unpaid wages.
The settlement must receive final approval.

There are many of us all over the USA that this pertained too. I live in Dallas, TX, and at one time ran 2 markets. I expect the same for all of us, and have sent my information to the Attorney representing as well, and pray that we all are fairly compensated. I truly believe if we spread the word, and then come together and speak up, we won't be ignored, for God will not allow our petition to be unheard. Grace and Peace.

I sold Avon and never compensated. Is there a lawsuit for this?

Does this only pertain to employees in California?
I live in Florida and worked for Avon as a DSM for 8 years - never received over time pay and worked far more than 40 hours every week.
