The US Food and Drug Administration warned that the use of Zyvox to treat patients with catheter-related bloodstream infection may be linked to an increased risk for mortality. Pfizer's Zyvox or linezolid was linked with an increased risk for death compared with other antibiotics such as vancomycin, oxacillin, or dicloxacillin. Zyvox is approved in the US to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including pneumonia and skin infections.

I was given Zyvox in hospital to treat cellulitis due to lymphedema tardy. My teeth turned black and several weakened to the point of cracking off at the gum line. I want my teeth fixed, Pfizer.

I had perfect teeth took zyvox for several months for a foot infection my teeth. Turned black and died Dr. Says some strong antibodies can have this. But no one told me until the damage was done

I took Zyvox for an ulcer on my left foot. I was hospitalized. Did not help, it got worse. Eventually loss 3 toes on my left foot.

Changes in vision, which I am hoping are not permanent. Hopefuly no permanent damage to my long term immune system. Last resort after many meds to treat MRSA infection.
