Woodland Park Hospital
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Symphony Healthcare, operator of Woodland Park Hospital, on behalf of about 500 employees. The suit alleges that under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, employers with more than 100 workers must give 60 days' notice when they close a work site with more than 50 workers or lay off 500 employees or one-third of a work site. The suit is seeking to compensate the workers for approximately 3 weeks of lost wages and benefits.
