Williams Production Royalties

A class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Garfield County mineral owners to recover unpaid royalties from the company. The suit claims Williams Production set aside taxes in an escrow account, paid the taxes and kept the rest. The Bureau of Land Management has begun to review its projections for development in the area and now predicts 10,000 wells instead of 1,000 for the next 20 years.
