Washington D.C. Water and Sewer Authority
A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Washington D.C. Water and Sewer Authority on behalf of on behalf of District families. The suit alleges that WASA officials concealed information about lead problems in the plaintiffs' water, and that they did not take adequate steps to protect public health. The suit further claims that WASA has known of the lead problems since 2001, yet has used improper methods to remain within the federal guidelines.
