A class action lawsuit alleges that the State of Georgia violated the constitution and curbed minority voting by requiring voters must have a government issued photo identification to vote. Georgia legislators passed a law that required all voters to present photo ID at the ballot box. Former Democratic Gov. Roy Barnes filed the suit in DeKalb County Superior Court as a class action on behalf of all voters without photo IDs.
