A class action lawsuit claims the Internet telephone group offered to sell shares to its users to offset the lack of interest from its institutional investors. The suit alleges Vonage violated a securities law that requires a company recommend the purchase or sale of its securities based on suitability for its customer. Instead, Vonage improperly crammed investors into its IPO regardless of their suitability.
