A federal lawsuit seeking class action status has been filed against Union Pacific, one of America's leading transportation companies. A Union Pacific train allegedly caused some cars to be derailed and a propylene tanker leaked part of its flammable cargo when it struck another train in the Texarkana, Arkansas rail yard. One person was killed in an explosion that followed and nearby residents complained of respiratory problems. The area evacuated included 276 businesses, 2,942 homes and 7,982 residents.
