The US Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Spin Master Toys has voluntarily recalled 46,200 Helix Remote Control Micro Helicopters due to burn hazards. The power supply controller can overheat posing a burn hazard to consumers. Spin Master has received 11 reports of the toy overheating, including fires and reports of minor skin burns. The toy was manufactured in China and sold nationwide from July 2006 until November 2006. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toy helicopters.
