Tivo has alleging changed "lifetime" subscription service to "product lifetime" service renewable every 3 years.

Lifetime just means " lifetime, or when TiVo feels like terminating a contract illegally." That is a rat fink, douche bag move. The service was terminated while the device was alive, and so was the agreement. Perhaps ANONYMOUS could help preach to the choir or bully cancelations? Cant say they don't deserve that! When you pay for LIFETIME that means something, and people expect that. I would expect a douche bag move from the neighborhood bully not a multimillion dollar corporation. Greed runs in their veins. Like for Monsanto.

Same here, I've got 4 Tivo's with paid lifetime subscriptions. I'm the original owner. Because my Tivo Series 1 wasn't plugged in they Assumed my device wasn't working and NEVER sent me any communication about discontinuing service for the series 1's. So frustrating.

I have a lifetime subscription on my Tivo DVR.I paid $300.00 dollars for my lifetime subscription.Tivo said they are dropping my lifetime subscription and offered me a $75.00 dollar Visa Card.I think Tivo should return my $300.00 dollars or transfer my lifetime subscription to my other Tivo DVR.

I have lifetime service on 3 TiVos. They just stopped services on my original unit and won't even give me the Visa card since it wasn't online this this year.
